The LimeAmps Energy Management System was developed from the ground up as an affordable, secure, and feature-rich solution to address the needs of small to medium commercial / industrial and residential customers.
The system consists of an intelligent energy computer that constantly communicates with sensors placed on key equipment and in the building. It records energy consumed by pumps, motors, fans, lighting, and other devices. The usage, lighting, and temperature information is stored in a central computer and is used to develop operational profiles for reporting.
During peak demand, such as very hot weather, the system automatically reduces your electric load by safely shutting down unnecessary electric devices and by power-cycling equipment based on pre-arranged profiles. Many companies are able to participate in load reduction without negatively impacting their business operation.
The system facilitates participation in Demand Response programs offered by energy providers. Demand Response programs allow you to save on energy costs and reduce load on the grid.
