During its 75-plus years of existence, Hunt Oil Company has been active in many parts of the world. Early in the 21st century, the company determined that the needs of our neighbors warranted a comprehensive new model for corporate social responsibility that could be implemented anywhere our work takes us around the world. Hunt Global Partnerships works to bring together local communities, non-governmental organizations and local, state and federal governments to produce sustainable projects that provide critical services for the individuals and families located in our project areas of influence worldwide.

Hunt Global Partnerships is currently serving more than 50,000 people in Peru and has received numerous accolades for the results our programs produce.

Hunt Electric Power Marketing (HEPM) was created in 2009 to facilitate power transactions between Texas and Mexico using the three existing interconnections that link the ERCOT grid of Texas with the national grid of Mexico, operated by the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE). HEPM has built upon Hunt’s existing marketing expertise, as well as its strong relationship with CFE, to successfully utilize these interconnections between the two markets. HEPM is also actively exploring new marketing opportunities on both sides of the border.

Hunt Energy IQ is dedicated to Global Energy Management and Sustainability (GEMS). With today’s global energy demands, Hunt Energy IQ provides an industry leading solution for Energy Resource Planning. Our GEMS solution provides the ability for enterprises to measure, monitor, monetize and control energy resources to provide a systematic approach for continuous energy improvement.

Hunt Energy Horizons , a Hunt affiliate, actively pursues and develops opportunities across a spectrum of energy projects, including wind generation development, solar generation development, coal gasification and the application of advanced nuclear technologies.

Hunt Energy Enterprises (HEE), working in cooperation with Hunt Investment Group, invests in early stage energy technology ventures that focus specifically on the use of technology applications to produce disruptive business opportunities both in the traditional energy industries and in the renewable and cleantech power markets. HEE provides entrepreneurs the opportunity to partner with one of the most enterprising global energy firms with its background in energy resources, power generation, transmission and distribution, and private equity investing.

Hunt Generation Investments (HGI) provides capital and expertise in the power generation space. Areas of focus include project development, acquisitions, and partnering with management teams. HGI helped create and is now an investor in US Power Generating Company, an entity that controls more than 20 percent of the electrical capacity in New York City.

Hunt Transmission Services (HTS) develops and acquires electric and pipeline transmission and distribution assets – both unregulated and regulated – either through acquisition of existing assets or through new incremental construction projects. One notable project is the Southline Transmission Project, which is sponsored by HTS’ subsidiary, Southline Transmission LLC.
HTS also provides support services to Sharyland Utilities, a Texas-based public electric utility that is fully regulated by the Public Utility Commission of Texas.

Hunt Power provides management and support services to both the Electric Infrastructure Alliance of America (EIAA) and the Gas Infrastructure Alliance of America (GIAA), two first-of-its-kind Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) created as innovative alternatives for investing in electric and natural gas transmission and distribution assets.
